The Brief
A large entrance hall with plain walls, standard lighting, and no sense of arrival. The owners wanted guests to walk in and immediately understand what kind of home this is.
The space was generous but completely empty. It needed drama without coldness.

The Approach
Alana commissioned a floor-to-ceiling crystal and gold-leaf chandelier installation, mounted above polished marble floors. Full-height mirrors amplify the light and stretch the space. A tall gold vase with dried grasses and a cowhide rug bring warmth to balance the formality.
“You only get one first impression. The entrance should tell the whole story in a single moment.”
The Result
Guests notice the cascading crystal light before anything else. The mirror wall creates a sense of scale that feels almost theatrical, but the natural textures keep it grounded. It is dramatic without being intimidating, which is a harder balance than it sounds.
